Created by Kristi Ward, a pilot’s wife and mom of two, Fairytale Travel Guide is a space for parents who often travel solo with their kids—by choice, by circumstance, or because their partner’s in the air more than home.
What started as one mom figuring out how to juggle airports, strollers, and toddlers alone has grown into a trusted resource for solo parent travel. From Disney parks to international trips, Kristi shares honest stories, practical tips, and gear that actually works when you’re the only adult in charge.
With a background in travel and tourism and years spent working in airports and at Walt Disney World, Kristi brings both insider know-how and lived experience to everything she creates. Her goal is simple: to help solo parents feel confident, capable, and excited about exploring the world with their kids—no backup required.
