Helping our scholars reach higher education
The Air to Heart Foundation is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to support and uplift the dependent children and spouses of current, retired, or deceased American Airlines pilots. Whether you're pursuing a degree, aviation training, or a certified program, our goal is to help you soar higher in your educational journey. We are proud to be in partnership with Allworth Airline Advisors, a premier airline financial services provider and sponsors of the Spouse Scholarship. ​​​​​​​​​
Applications are open July 1, 2025. The deadline to submit your application is Thursday, July 31, 2025 by 11:59 p.m. (CST)

Eligibility includes:

Must be the spouse or dependent child of a current, retired, or deceased American Airlines pilot

Enrolled in an accredited university or aviation/certificate program for Fall 2025

U.S. citizen, age 16 or older, with a high school diploma or GED
-
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)

Properly submitted essay of approximately 500 words, that adheres to the instruction provided
